I'm gonna be honest, I've never used the previous Urban Decay eyeshadows so hopefully my review will give a fresh opinion on these newer eyeshadows. The feel of the eyeshadows themselves are very smooth and creamy. Unfortunately I only have shimmery eyeshadows so I can't give any input on the matte finishes.
Blunt reminds me a lot of All That Glitters from MAC. It's a golden-champagne color with light shimmers in it.
Freelove is a peachy-pink color and can easily be used as a blush. It's a very nice pink to use on the lids for those who aren't used to a bright color on their eyes.
A huge disappointment for me was that when I used the two shades together, they blended together too much and looked like only one color. I don't know if that's just these two together or all their shades, but that's a big no no for me. I like blended colors but separation is nice as well.
If you wanted to make your own Urban Decay palette, you can easily do that with these eyeshadows. They pop right out and can be inserted into a palette that you can purchase at Sephora.
Overall, they're around a 7/10 to me. They're not great shades, I'm sure that UD has better colors in their collection but I wouldn't recommend these in particular.
